For more than 30 years, the name
Point a la Ligne has been synonymous with extraordinary quality,
creativity, and design--earning a worldwide reputation as the
"Rolls Royce" of candles. Situated in Bordeaux, France,
the Point a la Ligne candle-making shop first opened its doors
in 1968 and has been handcrafting exquisitely beautiful wax shapes
ever since. Artisans create sketches and then carve the molds.
When the perfect shape has been achieved, highest-quality paraffin
wax is poured. After the wax has hardened, the candles are hand-painted
with intricate details. All candles burn clean, dripless and
smokeless.
